Business Anchor, a German international broadcaster, DW,

and I've traveled all the way from Berlin,

which in this day and age, I have to say,

was somewhat of an adventure,

but I did not want to miss to guide you

through the program this evening and tomorrow, of course.

Now, this is a joint event by Siemens and the FAU,

the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg,

and it is the fifth SCKI conference coming to you

.

I'm going to be talking about the

pandemic, and I'm pretty much alone here in this big new room.

There are the technicians and there is one of our speakers

here, everybody else will join us online, but then again it's

health and safety first, of course.

The CKI, center of knowledge interchange, is a strategic

partnership between Siemens and the FAU in order to promote an

IEI, which is a strategic partnership between Siemens and the FAU in order to promote and

intensify cooperation with each other with regards to research, cooperation and talent

management. And this year, the hosts, so Siemens and the FAU, wanted to concentrate on digital

disruption impact on knowledge interchange. And this evening, we will focus, or our speakers

will focus on knowledge management in organizations. That is something we'll hear about first,

followed by AI in human resources.

And last but not least, we will also hear an interesting pitch and

a live demo from an AI startup that focuses on personality and team development.

Sounds very interesting.

I'm curious already.
